Twinsie Tuesday: Inspired by your BFF

Today is my first post for Twinsie Tuesday! I realized I hardly ever manage to exercise on my own... I usually only manage to get myself to exercise if I make plans to go to yoga/hike or something with a friend. So... since I've been pretty bad about posting here lately I decided to apply the same idea. I will be posting a themed mani every Tuesday with a bunch of new blogger friends!

For this prompt my BFF suggested purple and gold but that mani didn't work out so I'm posting this instead since I feel like she wears a lot of neutral colours.

This is what I was wearing a few weeks back when there was a bad storm here and lots of people lost their electricity for a few days. Luckily I only lost my Internet! It rained for a full week and seemed like summer was over so I put this on. This layering combination was inspired by Crystal

OPI Pirouette My Whistle has translucent white hex glitter and fine silver glitter in a clear base. I love how this is glittery without being bling-y... It's so soft and pretty! This was on my wish list forever and then somehow I never wore it once I got it... It's been in my untrieds for maybe 2 years?! LOL I'm terrible sometimes...

OPI I Don't Give a Rotterdam is a grey blue with predominantly gold and a bit of pink shimmer. It ended up a lot more grey on me compared to swatches I've seen. Shown is 4 coats but you could probably stop at 3 if you aren't doing macro shots. Formula was smooth and it was easy to control. It went on very evenly but it was sheer. I guess the shimmer needs to show through. I found this in the clearance bin at Zennkai for only $3!!

Show the other Twinsies some love too! :)

    1. Thanks Sharon! I didn't really like the grey on its own but once I put the topper on I was in love :)

  2. Rotterdam always comes out different on my nails. Sometimes blue sometimes grey, it's odd ;) Pretty!

    1. That's really weird but good to know! I was expecting Rotterdam to be more blue and was a bit disappointed with the grey... Hopefully next time it will be more blue for me!
