Repost: Blue/Purple Gradient (Scheduled Vacation Post)

Hope everyone is doing well! I'll be somewhere in China as this goes live... not sure where exactly though I haven't really planned out my itinerary I'll just wander around and see where this trip takes me lol. I'm probably wishing I could read my favorite nail blogs but they are all blocked in China booooo :(

The gradient I tried to do for the Busy Girl Nails challenge didn't work very well and I didn't have time to do another gradient before I left for my trip so I'm reposting this mani instead. It's from back in September 2013 and is probably my all time favorite mani that I've ever had on my nails. Back then I didn't have many followers and I wasn't really commenting on other people's blogs... I was just kind of hiding in a corner of the internet doing my own thing lol. So this post didn't get many views... I thought I would repost it and give it another chance :)

I used China Glaze Coconut Kiss and OPI Unfor-greta-bly Blue. For more info please see the original post

  1. Hope your having fun on your vacation in China! Man, wish I could travel there or anywhere for that matter. I've never been outside of Canada before. This gradient looks great. The blue you used is really glowy.

    1. thanks Breena! I find that shimmer polishes are easier to use for gradients than creme finishes because the base is a bit sheer... and the shimmer will hide any roughness in the gradient
