Layla No. 19

Sorry everyone for the lack of posts! I really need to get better at setting aside time to blog and also read other nail blogs but I've just been really busy lately. Hopefully I'll be able to settle into a fall routine soon that will leave me some time to blog :)

Anyway today I have this lovely polish from Layla which unfortunately doesn't have a name... just a number. Kind of bugs me when polishes have just a number and no name. I can never remember numbers. Also it just feels like the polish has no soul or something. Like the makers weren't inspired by anything when they were creating the polish... and they couldn't think of a name for it after either.

This is a gorgeous blue with green and gold shimmer. It was aaallmost fully opaque at 2 coats. If I wear this again I would probably stick with just 2 coats since the tiny amount of VNL remaining is very hard to see in real life. Since I was photographing it though I did 3 coats. I found this polish took a reaaaally long time to dry and I accidentally dinged a few nails during clean up :( it lasted a really long time though... I think I had it on for 5 days and only had minor tip wear. I can't believe I had a polish on for 5 days! I just don't have as much time for my nails as I used to :(

  2. This is a gorgeous blue. The shimmer in it is lovely. I know what you mean about having no time for your nails. I've been a bit behind on some things so I've been trying to catch up whenever I can. My blogging folder isn't as full as it used to be.

  5. Haha I agree with your reasoning on naming polishes; I also like it when polishes are named. Otherwise, they don't feel like a real polish. :) This is a gorgeous color. The shimmers in there are just fantastic! :D
