Simple Saran Wrap Mani

Just a very simple post today. I haven't had much time to do my nails this week :( I actually had naked nails for 3 days this week!

This is a Saran Wrap mani I did in my hotel room while I was on vacation. Somehow I can never seem to paint my nails nicely if I'm not at my usual nail painting desk with my lamp... Anyone else feel that way? It was lumpy and streaky and I'm on my second bottle of this polish so I know it's not the polish... So anyway this became a saran wrap mani instead to hide the streaky-ness/lumpy-ness.

I used Color Club Evolution x3 and Bright Night.

I finally painted my nails last night so I should hopefully have a post up this weekend! Stay tuned! :)

  1. It looks good! Kind of reminds me of the pool or water! ;)

  2. Hehe I know what you mean... I have a painting table I always use. It feels weird to paint my nails anywhere else. This looks great! I like the light blue/ dark blue color combination! :)

  7. I love this, sometimes you don't have time for nail art that takes forever, but I often feel like no nail art is too plain, this adds a little something but isn't too time-wasting!

  8. Great idea to save a less than perfect mani--yet another reason I need to try this technique (my usual save is adding glitter).

    1. Haha I add glitter to save manis too but I didn't bring any with me on my trip because I didn't want to have to scrub it off... I think the saran wrap method can save a mani that is further gone though lol I had a few dings on my right hand that I just dotted some polish over before the saran wrap and you can't tell! :)

  9. Gorgeous mani and such a great technique choice if you want something beautiful but speedy! I agree with Lisa that it also reminds me of water/swimming pools. I have very limited polish space so I am normally sat on the bed with a cardboard box as my table and now I seriously find that easier then using the large table down stairs, ha :) xx
