Hey everyone! It's been way too long since I last posted! One of my resolutions is definitely to post more often than I did towards the end of this year! I think the 31 day challenge really burned me out... maybe that wasn't such a great idea :(
Anyway here's my mani for New Years Eve tonight!
I did a glitter gradient over black with OPI "Which is Witch?" The holo didn't photograph very well unfortunately. On my middle finger I have 3 coats of Deborah Lippmann "Believe" The diamond charms are from Born Pretty Store (sent for honest review). Use my code SL10K31 for 10% off!
The charms are so super tiny! I found it hard to pick them up with tweezers since they are so small and super thin. I ended up sticking them to the pad of my finger (like a contact lens) to pick them up, and then picking them up with tweezers from there. I stuck them on to top coat that was about halfway dry, and then sealed them in with another layer of topcoat on top. I didn't think I would like charms on my nails but these are actually very thin and flat. I can feel the corners on one of the diamonds that wasn't stuck down well (I took too long and the topcoat was too dry when I tried to stick it on) but the other 3 diamonds are not any more bumpy than chunky glitter with topcoat. One thing I didn't notice before putting these on is that one side is gold (top one on my nail - it photographed as silver) and the other side is more of a copper color. I personally like that the sides are different colors. I love mixing different metals together!
What do you think of these charms? Any blogging or nail related New Years resolutions? Happy New Year everyone! :)
