Barielle Falling Star

I haven't done a Monday Blues post in a while buuut I have an extra pretty blue today to make up for it! :)

This is Barielle Falling Star. This is from the collaboration between Barielle and All Lacquered Up back in 2009. That was before I started reading nail blogs so I didn't personally see this one until I saw it in a blog sale and looked up swatches. Then of course I snatched it up!

Falling Star is a blue creme polish with very small square orangey copper glitter. Formula on this was amazing. Two easy coats. I usually dread applying these creme polishes with glitter but not this one! I read a bunch of reviews where people said application on this one was tricky though (even All Lacquered Up herself said this one was tricky!) and required some polish thinner. So I'm not sure why mine is so good... maybe I somehow got a really good bottle? Or maybe Rebecca Likes Nails added thinner to it already before I bought it off her? She didn't mention adding thinner in her post though so I'm not sure... maybe I'll ask her! :)

Hope everyone has a good Monday and a great week! :)

  6. The subtle glitter is really beautiful! :) I'm envious that you can easily purchase good polishes there. :( Polishes here are so limited!
