Valentine's Mani 2015

Hey everyone! So sorry I haven't been posting much... I haven't had as much time to post lately and then on top of that my computer wasn't cooperating the last few times I actually did find time to post :( I'm really behind on commenting on everyone's blogs too sorry! But hopefully I will be able to catch up soon! :)

Anyway here's a quick post of my Valentine's Day mani! I wanted some quick nail art so I decided to do some more two-tone stamping. This is definitely my favorite nail art technique... It's fairly easy and looks a lot harder to do than it really is. Also there is no messy clean up or need to cover the skin around your nails like there is with a normal sponge gradient.

Base: Layla No. 23 (nice 2 coater, non-streaky white)
Stamping plate: Pueen 01
Stamping colors: Color Club Je T'aime (lighter pink) and Overboard (darker pink)

I also had some heart shaped rhinestones from the Born Pretty Store rhinestone wheel so I decided to try and stick them onto the hollow hearts. I don't really like the way the rhinestones look over the stamping... the rhinestones aren't exactly the same size/shape as the hearts on my stamping which really bothers me... ya just slightly OCD haha. The rhinestones have stayed on really really well though and I would definitely wear them again... I just think I would prefer them on a plain background personally.

Here's the rest of the rhinestone wheel! I've used 2 of these stones so far and I'm really happy with them. They stay on quite well and the container keeps everything organized, easy to access and prevents spilling little stones everywhere. :) Use my code SL10K31 for 10% off!
