Twinsie Tuesday: Food - Dance Legend Blueberry Mousse

I was a bit stuck on inspiration for this week's theme: "Inspired by Your Favorite Food(s)" Then I thought of Dance Legend Blueberry Mousse since I haven't posted it yet and I really love blueberries. This is another jelly sandwich in a bottle type polish. Lilac base with mostly blue and some silver glitter. I really like how most of the glitter is pretty small, with a few medium pieces thrown in... I personally like the ratio!

Unfortunately this was quite sheer... Shown is 4 coats. This one also dried really slowly even with fast dry top coat :( You can see I got some wrinkles from my sheets when I went to bed. Next time I will definitely layer this over a similar base color!

On the bright side though this wore really really well! I had it on for a full six days with only minor tip wear! Ya I've been getting kind of lazy with changing my polish lol

Don't forget to show the other Twinsies some love!

  1. It's lovely, well worth the effort of building up! I haven't worn polish like this in a long time x

  2. This is super pretty! I agree, I would probably do two coats over a similar base - but that lilac base really makes the blue glitters pop!

  4. This is gorgeous :-D I found it to be really slow drying too! But I forgave it because it's awesome ;-)

  5. Pretty polish on you, but don't you hate having to apply 4 coats...

  6. Pity it's not the best formula. I'd say it would work out well layered!

    1. Ya I was disappointed with the formula :( but it is cute... I think it just needs a base underneath

    1. Haha i like doing my nails before bed... I find it kind of relaxing :) i usually don't have problems with wrinkles on my nails from my bed sheets this polish was just too sheer and needed too many coats so it didn't dry as fast :(
