OPI To Be Or Not To Beagle over gray

Hi everyone! My cuticles are in really bad condition right now due to the sudden cold snap and me falling asleep without putting on cuticle cream a few nights this week :( So here's a swatch from a while ago. This is OPI To Be or Not To Beagle from the 2014 Peanuts Halloween collection. It consists of medium sized multicolored (orange, pink, yellow, light blue, cobalt blue) hex shaped glitter, medium sized black hex glitter and fine black bar glitter. This is such a fun glitter and I definitely see the inspiration from the different Peanuts characters' outfits.

This one applied fairly well... I didn't have any trouble getting the glitter out but it was hard to tell how much black glitter was on the black brush so I ended up with some areas that had less glitter. I didn't want to end up with too much glitter instead so I just left it as is. I found this one on sale at Winners last year :)

Base is an unlabeled grey polish from Cosmetic Arts. I nicknamed this one "Grace" for my own future reference... so I don't have 50+ unlabeled polishes and it's also kind of fun :)

I first wore this topper last year over purple. Which do you prefer?

  2. Really fun glitter topper that is. I think I like it a little bit better over the purple but both versions are lovely.
