Twinsie Tuesday: Favorite Fictional Character



Today's Twinsie Tuesday Theme is Inspired by Your Favorite Fictional Character. I was really stuck on this one and ended up going with Turanga Leela from Futurama. I didn't have enough time for nail art so I decided to go with purple for her hair, plus some black and white glitter to represent her outfit.


The base is Essie Suite Retreat which is very pigmented. It could be a one coater if you can get it even. Shown is 1-2 coats depending on the nail. Finger Paints You're So Antsy is a nice black and white glitter. This one doesn't have any bar glitter... Just medium size squares and smaller bits. This was really packed with glitter... you need to make sure you don't have too much on your brush or the glitters will clump together. I know black and white glitter was kind of 2-3 years ago but I've been really obsessed with it lately. I guess before this summer I didn't have a black and white glitter with a good formula that I really liked.  

I think Suite Retreat is too blue toned, and photographed much more blue than it really is. I should have gone with a more red toned purple but oh well :( The color is a bit more accurate in this outdoor shot but its still showing up a bit more blue

      I haven't actually watched Futurama in a while either haha... I was really stuck on this prompt and just mentally went through my previous Halloween costumes ;)

    I like the tone of Suite Retreat ^^ I've never tried Finger Paints before as it is not sold in Turkey :( What a pity..

      Yeah Suite Retreat is lovely... Just wish it was easier to photograph! Aaaw :( finger paints is a good inexpensive brand but it's only sold at Sally beauty supply I think...

    Suite Retreat is hard to photograph! It's a gorgeous shade and I love how you used the black and white too.
