Blue and Purple Watermarble

Hi everyone! Since my last water marble wore really well - 10 days and only a tiny bit of tip wear! I decided I wanted to practice water marbling and hopefully get better at it. I still had a bit of trouble with the polish drying too quickly on the surface of the water and dragging so I wasn't able to get smooth petal shapes. It wasn't as bad as last time though so maybe it was the polish.

I got a large bubble on my index which I was kind of annoyed about. I also accidentally got a second layer of water marble on my pinky when I was trying to clear the surface :( I had run out of patience to re-do it at this point though haha. I do really like my middle nail though!

Polishes used:
Color Club - In De-Nile (light blue)
Color Club - Pucci-licious (purple)
Cosmetic Arts unlabeled bright blue nicknamed "Betty"

Do you like water marbling? Do you have any tips?

  9. The thought of trying water marbling makes me shake in by boots a little bit. I haven't attempted it yet because I'm too chicken and not very patient. I really love your color combo and I think it turned out great!
