Turquoise, Blue, Purple Ziploc Bag Smoosh Mani

I'm so glad this week is finally almost over! It feels like such a long week, coming back after a brief vacation. Today I have another Ziploc bag smoosh mani. I was originally planning to stamp over this but once I applied top coat I ended up liking it too much on it's own to cover!

I started with a white base (Layla No. 23) and then for the marble I used Color Club Blue-Ming, Color Club Yahoo Purple, and Essie Make Some Noise.

Here's my right hand which ended up a bit darker, with more purple and blue. Which do you prefer?

This technique is fairly easy and I love how each nail turns out differently :) You basically put dots of polish on your nail (over a base color), cover with a piece of ziploc bag (I prefer the thick freezer bags but you can use any plastic), and then gently squish the polish around. I also slide the plastic around a bit... just be careful not to over mix it or your nail will look muddled. Here's a video tutorial!

  1. i had seen this tutorial not long ago an liked it cause it's easy and quick to do but the result is very fun and unique. honestly i like your mani much better, not only cause you've used more beautiful color, but also cause your result is much neater and vibrant and your shapes of colors came out nicer. i may be trying it soon.

    1. Thanks! My favourite look is probably gradient but this is just way easier when I'm feeling lazy but still want a colourful design :)
