Hi everyone! Another simple stamping mani today... I was originally going to wear China Glaze Dress Me Up on it's own... From swatches I saw online I thought this would be a dusty rose color but it ended up a lot more brown toned on me and looks like tan/nude color. I really didn't like the color on it's own on me so I added some quick stamping with Bundle Monster plate BM21 and Konad black stamping polish.
Formula was good though... I didn't have any issues and drying time was average. Shown is 2 coats. I just put this on last night so not sure how wear time is.
What do you think of this mani? Have you ever bought a polish and had the color look completely different from swatches online?
Yes, I bought a nail polish that was looking much different in reality many times. The stamping is very well done!
ReplyDeleteGlad it's only happened to me a few times! Thanks aneta!
DeleteGorgeous Design and the colors are amazing
ReplyDeleteThanks Sony!
DeleteThis color does look a lot more brown on your nails but with the black stamping you stamped on top, I like the manicure :) I've also had polishes look a bit different on my nails compared to what I see online too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa! Yeah I like the color more with the stamping... So weird how that happens sometimes :(
DeleteWell, the colour itself it's difficult to wear but the stamping is perfect! At the end you find the way to wear this strange colour! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yeah I didn't want to redo my base
DeleteVery classy and cute, how I like it!
ReplyDeleteIt may be a simple design but it sure looks amazing. Love the brown shade a lot!
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrea! :)
Deleteloved the stamping pattern :D the base color look like melted chocolate :D
ReplyDeleteI don't really like nude polish, but with the stampy it looks nice. I know the problem of buying polish online and receiving something different then what you imagined very well :O
ReplyDeleteYeah I don't wear nude often... Only as a base maybe. I like it more with the stamping too thanks :)
