Hard Candy - Jelly Bean Blue

Bleh it's Monday again :( That means a full 8 hour day of work and then 3 hours of school for me... I feel like the weekend went by way too fast! I don't know where it went.

Anyway the one good thing about Mondays is getting to see everyone's blue nails!

This is 3 coats of Jelly Bean Blue. A nice light blue crelly with small navy blue and black hex glitter. The polish was a bit difficult to work with. It was quite thick due to all the glitter crammed in there, although the base itself wasn't thick if that makes sense. I had a bit of balding and streaking with this polish so I needed 3 coats to get it even and opaque. Try not to go over a spot twice in the same coat. This mani ended up a bit thick for my liking. I also felt like the first coat of polish was wasted since it's completely covered. Since these bottles are half size (7.8 ml vs 15 ml for a regular bottle... or 0.26 vs 0.5 fl oz for you Americans) I really want to try and use as little as possible! I think next time I wear this polish, or any of the other Hard Candy indie jelly sandwich type polishes I'll put some undies on first ;)

  3. I really like the pretty color of this polish! Shame about the formula. I'm sure it's gonna be better with a base underneath.
