For today's Monday Blues I have a gorgeous Korean polish to share with you girls! I really really love this one! Perfect "jelly sandwich in a bottle" polish! :)
There's no shade name on the label, just the number 74 but I Googled and found numerous blogs referring to this polish as "Classy Mint." It is a dusty, slightly green tinted blue... although I don't think it is green enough to be called "mint" personally. It has fuchsia and silver glitters. The fuchsia glitters are small and medium hex. The silver glitters are small, medium and large hex. I really love the color combination here. Reminds me of cherry blossoms against a blue sky. So beautiful! I love how the glitters look sandwiched in the base... it's just perfect. Shown here is 3 coats. The formula was pretty good, no application issues.
It's worth noting that this polish is not 3 free if that is important to you. I personally haven't done enough research to give an opinion.
What about you? Do you avoid polishes that aren't 3-free or 5-free? Do you save "special" polishes and never end up wearing them? Do you have any experience/tips with PVA glue or other peel off base coats?
Don't forget to check out the other Monday Blues!
Looks like a great jelly polish :) I don't really notice or care if the polish is 3-free or 5-free. I like whatever color interests me, lol. Sometimes when I get expensive polishes, I tend not to wear it unless I have a special occasion for it, haha. Never experimented with a peel off base but I've always wanted to try using the Elmer glue method. Let me know how it works out for you :)
ReplyDeletethanks Lisa! ya I've been meaning to research the 3 free/5 free thing but haven't got around to it. A few of my nails popped off on me after almost 2 days :( still experimenting...
DeleteOoooh, this is pretty! The combination of glitters really does give this polish a "cherry blossom" feel. :)
ReplyDeletethanks Justina!
DeleteHow gorgeous looks this nail polish :)
ReplyDeletethanks!
DeleteOoh this glitter is gorgeous! :D
ReplyDeleteIt really is! I loooove it! I need to get on eBay to get a back up bottle! it's only 10 ml!! :'(
Delete3-free polishes can sometimes get a bit expensive. I actually buy my nail polish based on smell. Haha. Weird, right? :) I've read that OPI is also not 3-free but I still love it. It doesn't smell bad. But there are really cheap polishes that stink so bad. O_O I try to avoid those. haha.
ReplyDeleteYa some nail polishes really do just smell toxic! I believe newer OPI's are 3 free... check the label at the bottom if the font is green it's 3 free if the font is black then it's not 3 free
