I'm still really frustrated with not being able to do my normal watermark :@ It's making me not really want to do blog posts.... I think I might just uninstall and reinstall Photoshop if I don't get any help in the Photoshop forum :(
Anyway here is a mani I attempted inspired by my coworker's shirt from H&M. Here is the shirt
I used diluted acrylic paint to try and get that watercolor effect. Since it was so watery though it was hard to control where the paint went. I had to change the flowers to 5 petal flowers or they would just look like blobs of paint. I used a small nail art brush and made flowers MrCandiipants style. I used the bubble nails technique to absorb the excess water and try to create a watercolor look.
These didn't really turn out looking like the inspiration, but I think they turned out OK... not super thrilled with them or anything though. What do you girls think?
They look good. I think you probably should have diluted the acrylic paint a bit more since they seem to still look pretty opague. I hope you can solve that issue your having with Photoshop too!
ReplyDeletethanks Lisa! I wanted to dilute the paint more but when I did it got too watery and just went everywhere on my nails :(
DeleteThis is a pretty nail art I like it. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh man, that sucks that no one was able to help you with your watermark issues. You'll get it sorted in the end. :-)
Thanks Ananka! I hope so! :)
DeleteThat is very neat!
ReplyDeletethank you!
DeleteSuper cute manicure! I think it looks great - Don't worry about how your watermark is in the picture, it doesn't take away from your beautiful nail art :) I hope you get it fixed so you can be happy with it though xx
ReplyDeletethank you! ya it really bugs me... I think my curved watermark looks better but it's good to hear the normal watermark doesn't look too bad if i'm not able to fix it for a while
DeleteYour manicure looks really pretty :)
ReplyDeleteI think this turned out great! I love how the flowers look :D
ReplyDeletethanks Traci!
DeleteI love this! It's simple but still very pretty with the pops of colorful flowers. :)
