Chit Chat Nails Recreation for Busy Girl Nails Spring - Pastels

I tried sooo many manis for this "pastel" challenge prompt. I tried doing watercolor nails several times but wasn't happy with the way they turned out. Then I tried the saran wrap technique where you smoosh your polish onto your nail but somehow the plastic I used kept sticking and taking off my white base. Guess I was impatient and it wasn't dry yet? It was just not a good mani day for me :(

Then I remembered this mani from Chit Chat Nails and since I have the same plate I decided I should finally recreate Marta's mani! This obviously didn't turn out anywhere near as good as hers... my triangles are kind of wonky since the polishes weren't completely opaque and I had to keep going over them trying to get the polish even which made it hard to get crisp edges on the triangles. The stamping also got a bit distorted... I think maybe I was pressing too hard? And there's some top coat smearing... Don't zoom in!! Just look at it from far away haha :)

Products Used:
White: Sally Hansen Whirlwind White
Plate: Pueen 05
Stamping polish: Konad black special polish

Here are the prompts for the rest of the challenge. I love the Busy Girl Nails challenges since they are only once a week. The prompts aren't too hard in terms of techniques and aren't too abstract that I don't know what to do with them either! :)

Feel free to join us! :)
