Happy Friday! And April Fool's Day... Anyone planning any pranks? ;) I haven't had much time to edit pictures this week so here's something from a while ago. I tend to do tone on tone combinations but I'm starting to really like contrast too! I think the pink pops really nicely over the mint while the white softens the look.
This is LA Girl Splatter glitter in "Sprinkle" It has magenta and white small, medium, and large hex glitters, along with a few pink bar glitters. It went on fairly easily. I had to dab to fill in a few spots but for the most part it covered fairly easily and stayed where I put it. The base color is Julie G Tahiti.
This combination didn't wear very well unfortunately but I think it might just have been the cold weather... I noticed quite a few polishes chipping quickly from mid-November to February :(
Nice glitter, sorry to hear it didnt last very long :(
ReplyDeleteThanks Sony! I guess chunky glitters do tend to chip faster
DeleteLovely top coat!
ReplyDeleteCute glitter this this but bummer to hear it didn't last long on your nails.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa! I guess chunky glitters tend to chip quickly
DeleteIt looks nice :) It could be that nails are weaker in winter, so it can have influence on lasting of polishes...
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yeah I think so... Also I guess chunky glitters tend to chip faster
Deletebeautiful combo, I love this glittery top coat very much :)
