OMD2 - 31DC - Favorite Polish


It wasn't hard at all for me to pick a favorite polish! I didn't even need to think about it! For me it's definitely Color Club - Bright Night. This polish was the first Color Club I ever used and really made me fall in love with the brand. I'm pretty sure I have 100 bottles of Color Club now lol! The formula is absolute perfection. Almost one coat... maybe one thick coat would be okay but I prefer to do 2 thinner ones. So nice and creamy, great brush... and I looove the color! I love blue polishes and this one is so gorgeous! It's such a vivid cobalt blue! I'm pretty sure I wore it 10x last summer right after I got it. I can't believe I haven't worn this in a while... it got forgotten with so many polishes in my stash now :( I definitely need a backup of this one!

 Anyway enough gushing and on to the nail art... I wanted to do a dry marble with white but I still can't figure out how to dry marble! I always end up creating bare lines in the polish somehow :( I think maybe my polishes are drying too fast? 

 So anyway I did some simple stamping with Bright Night instead. I used Pueen 04 on my middle finger and Pueen 05 on my ring finger. My stamping didn't turn out that great here I don't know why. I usually don't have issues with stamping but I guess it just wasn't my night for nail art.

What's your favorite polish? Any tips for dry marbling?

    That is a gorgeous blue! I should really try out more Color Club polishes, I only own a few colors from them. Sometimes stamping doesn't turn out that well for me too. It kind of works here though.

      thanks Lisa! ya you should I highly recommend them! I don't think I've used a bad Color Club polish yet!

      I guess the stamping looks a bit faded which kind of goes with the irregular lines... just not what i was hoping for but oh well

    I do like CC polishes, they have such pretty colours :-)

    Gorgeous polish! I don't have anything like it but I definitely should :D I love the design too, I actually like that the stamping didn't transfer completely, it looks like you did it on purpose so don't worry! :)

      i love cobalt blues! you should definitely get something like this if you like blue! thanks! glad to hear my stamping still works even if its imperfect :)

    That's a beautiful blue and I can see why you love it so much. Pairing it with a white really brings out the intensity of the blue. :)
